This starts with the education system, and I don’t mean higher education. Most schools (k-12) are primarily staffed by females. Since the 1970s, curriculum has shifted more and more towards female educational standards. In summary, society has allowed boys to be educated in environments not conducive to their biological hardwiring:
-sit inside all day
-eliminate PE, recess, woodshop class, FAA, organized sports, etc
Then they get home ans parents put an iPad in the lap or video game controller in their hands.
Simply put; boys need to me outside more, learn to do stuff with their hands, start a project and finish it, etc. Until that becomes the norm, our boys will continue down this slope.
