This is where i'm different. I like big stadium shows because you get to enjoy the visible display put on by the big acts. I hate music festivals because they're hot, uncomfortable, and lose that intimate setting and display that an indoor show provides.

For instance, I love GnR but I missed them in The Dome, although I had tickets but life messed me up and I missed the show. I only have marginal interest in going to see them at Voodoo.

Jesus Christ .... just how lazy and out of touch do some of you millennial's want to be?

- no more brick and mortar stores = Amazon can bring me everything

- no more going out to eat = Uber Eats, Waitr, etc. can bring it to me

- no more movie theaters = I can just download it at the house

- no more going into Grocery stores - they'll bring it out to my parking spot

now you don't even want to go to a live concert because God forbid it may actually cost a little bit of money and take a little bit of effort.

I like going to concerts in Vegas. The tickets are more expensive (paid $300 a ticket for Bruno Mars) but the venue was smaller. I thought it was worth it.

Love live music. I got to at least one concert a month somewhere.

Heading to the Fox Wednesday night for Brit Floyd.

Live music is great.

I prefer free concerts or small 5-10 dollar shows cause I never really feel satisfied for what I shell out to see a moderately reknowned act, unless it's a favorite or a bucket list thing l, or a large festival, but festivals are more about the atmosphere than the music. Seeing local bands at a bar is usually a fun time- enjoyed most of the shows I saw at the Spanish Moon

My favorite music event by far is festival international in laffy- free, cool crowd, and a an amazing variety of styles.

I loathe venues like the varisty because I get claustrophobic as well as the quality of the characters also attending.

Wife works for a 16,500 seat venue. Get to go to pretty much any show for free and park 100 yards from where we sit. 75% of the time it's in some premium seats. It's worth it for me at least . I go to shows I'd never pay for and often come away from it having enjoyed the experience (drinking helps). Actually saw Dierks Bently (I hate current country) last year. He shook my 3 year olds hand, so it was a fun experience for him.

No it’s not worth it. Same as LSU football. It isn’t worth the time or money when you can watch it in AC on your 72” 4K TV

I guess I saw so many games as a student that I don't necessarily care if I ever see a game in stadium again. Having to deal with traffic and it being an all day event I much rather watch at home with friends and order in food.

Damn. I saw Metallica in January, I paid $45.

That's a steal. We may have been at the same show in Bham. I bought ours as soon as they went on sale though for the floor.

Huge concerts in stadiums or arenas aren’t for me. Overpriced and overcrowded - much better off staying home & ordering in pay per view if I cared that much.

Small venues (House of Blues or preferably smaller) are worth it IMO. Especially if you’re a metal fan.

Agreed. When I bought tickets to big venues I always made sure I could get floor tickets or I wasn't going. I would gladly spend 100 bucks to actually see the band instead of sitting 200 yards away.

The HOB is where it's at. Cheap tickets, great bands and the best view. I saw Type O Negative, Coal Chamber, Heart, and Dio there. Had a blast at all of them, but some douche nozzles at the Dio concert thought they were entitled because they were older than me. Being 10ft away from them is awesome.

Seems strange a person that doesnt like concerts has a membership to an app that provides tickets to concerts.

Or is this a commercial for the inwego app?

I saw Kiss in the late 80s. They were awesome. I saw them recently in Memphis and it was a blast too. Worth it? Hell yes. No one puts on a show like that anymore.
