Does every small town/city in Louisiana just about fit this description and check these boxes?

40% Democrat

Dilapidated buildings that are falling down

Shitty public school or two and then a really wannabe preppy private school but fall significantly short of the academic prowess of public schools in other states. But you better not tell the parents sending their kids to these schools because they think Opelousas Catholic is a Harvard prep.

Bad roads

No jobs, no industry, no local economy

Abandoned homes

About 70% of the population living off of some form of government assistance

A huge drug epidemic

A travel ball league with fat parents, who swear Braxtylynne is going pro

A really shitty McDonalds, BK, Sonic, and/or Popeyes that’s full of ‘employees’ with no sense of customer service whatsoever. They don’t want to be there and would be considered unemployable by almost any standard if they were in a more educated part of the country.

Missing anything?

Aren’t you supposed to be in Vermont? Guess your wonderful personality killed that job opportunity, eh?

It’s New Hampshire. I can tell you were educated in this state being how you don’t know the difference.

One of them is the other one flipped around 180 degrees.

I bet those Yankee assholes can't tell MS and AL apart either.

Ours is 80% Democrat. The historic homes get moved out of town (usually to Natchitoches). We've had businesses close because the local employees like to steal.

Our economy is good, but businesses rarely open in the city limits because of our high sales tax.

We do have a lot of places that sell booze.

Large cites are also the same..same breakdown as you describe. Only difference is you have enough room a city to isolate yourself from whatever you find undiserable.

north and central Louisiana--the private schools aren't Catholic.

Just a bunch of people doing the best they can in a poverty stricken culture that simply is not a culture anyone should admire and democrats would call you racists to condemn it.

Now lets look at the middle/upper middle suburbs---subdivision on top of subdivision, latch key kids playing video games for hours smoking dope at 14 watching mom and dad divorce still trying to keep up with Jones and their BMW/Audi/Range Rover ect.

I never really understand these threads. It's an obvious take on the obvious. It's like taking a bunch of threads about trashy stuff and mashing them together.

There are plenty of very nice small towns in Louisiana. There is a shitty side of every city in every state in every country.
