Wife is an RN and tells me stories of people coming in to get tested because they were around a stranger without a mask or coming in 3 weeks after being exposed and having no symptoms.

Seems like an incredible waste of resources. People should only get tested if you are ill enough to miss work. Just providing fuel to the people that love to ingest fear porn

Positive cases are any rocketing, but deaths holding steady, so yes, I would agree.

We’re over testing just to get positives. We need to go back to the days of having a 103 fever to get probed

I’ll be curious to see the responses that you get on your question since this topic has never been discussed before.

When you get stares for coughing or sneezing, we've gone overboard in society.

Not only a waste of resources, but the largest transfer of wealth in my lifetime. With the lockdowns and non-essential businesses closed, all the stimulus went straight to Wal-Mart/Home Depot/Target/China. In effect, they did everything they could to kill small business and shrink the middle class.

A decade of economic ruin is inbound and there’s no way to avoid it.

Most exuberant waste of resources? No. Vietnam war, the civil war, and the war on drugs.
