Is Covid 19 a microcosm of Socialism?

People losing employment because business can't make money.
People restricted to their homes by government mandate.
Products off of shelves because of hording over fear of an inevitable shortage of goods.
People seeking leisure due to the increased unemployment or lack of jobs resulting in lackadaisical behavior and not being productive.
You can't even go into some hospitals because the shortage of medical supplies and social distancing prefers you stay in your car or outside until someone is available to treat you.
You can't eat at your favorite restaurant for social distancing either. This inevitability leads to a form of isolationism.
And government is still interfering in things they shouldn't be involved with, like private business operations.
Am I missing something?

Microcosm is the wrong word, but it is a glimpse into the results of a socialistic society on this scale.
