I’m all about fitness and being fit/toned, just curious what makes a man working in an office want to be ‘swole’ and wear a bed sheet for a dress shirt.

Encountered a junior level employee this morning in the kitchen mixing up some protein/creatine concoction. I asked as I was heating up my green tea. Overheard him tell someone he was in his ‘bulking phase’. My guy could stand to lose a few pounds.

First thing I thought was, I’ll never see this clown in a board meeting.

I like this post, but I thought it was "swolt".

No, being in shape would actually be considered professional.

Are you competing ? You think spending money changes your class? There are plenty of trashy rich people.

"The Gym" has become a modern social media and cultural phenomenon. I think there's a competition who can virtue signal the most time and money.

In the 80s we had two gyms in town. One a "biker" gym and the other for wrestlers and metros.

The biker gym was so much more fun.

I'm 47 and in the best shape of my life. Lift 6 days a week. Not super swole, but not a dad bod or a soft arse puff! When my wife touches me, she's touching a man! Maybe you should try it!

I chuckled. Have a Monday morning upvote.

I would prefer to judge a person on how they conduct their business.

I wasn't cute, wasn't rich, and didnt have a giant hog.. Only thing I could control is my body. I got tired of being the wing man.

I skimmed through this thread. Some good stuff here. I take issue however with the word swole, I don’t like it. Moving forward, I want us all to start using the word swolt instead.
