Based on the research, 24/7 Wall St. stated, "Pine Bluff, Arkansas, is America's most miserable city. According to Census data, the poverty rate in the city is a remarkably high 26.8%."

Love this thread. Start driving up 71 from Dequeen to Fort Smith to Fayetteville and ask if Arkansas isn't awesome. It's all of us (Texas/Louisiana) with trees and hills.

This isn’t about Arkansas in particular, but it’s kind of funny how this board will shite all over Louisiana (for good reason) and completely ignore the similarities between it and a Mississippi, Arkansas, etc

Arkansas doesn't really have a signature food but they are well known for cheese dip.

If you are ever in the state, go to Stoby's in either Conway or Russellville. They serve some pretty good breakfast burritos and different types of cheese dip.

Also get the biscuits and gravy, you won't regret it.

Not the worst town in Arkansas.

That belongs to Helena.

It doesn't need one. Chicken over the coals is fine. Arkansas eats, we don't invent and no one gives a rip.

I think being surrounded by different states and being influenced by them, gives them a different variety of different foods that is hard to determine which is best.

Hot Springs always has something going on. The economy is still pretty strong.

I was talking to the lady over short term rentals for Hot Spring's the other day and found out that the sales tax revenue has gone up every quarter from the year before corresponding quarter for as long as she’s been there. Even during Covid, people were coming to Hot Springs and spending money. So yeah, Arkansas is happening.

I'll give you the ducks, but the best deer hunting is Texas. And it's not even remotely close.

I recently went hiking around Buffalo River and I’m wondering if everyone will catch on, soon.

Fayetteville/NWA has been ranked on the best places to live for a decade now.

Hot Springs use to be Vegas before Vegas got big.

Babe Ruth and the Yankees used to have spring training in the area and it use to be a hideout for old gangsters like Al Capone.

NWA could be an entire different state. The rest is basically Mississippi/Lousiana mixed into a giant dump.
