About 99% of those crimes are committed by psychos or repeat offenders. Your average gun enthusiast is not the one committing these atrocities. If that were the case, we would all be in prison.
Facts don't lie. The violent crime rate is 50% lower than it was in 1992. And that's when concealed carry began in one state. It has steadily declined since then and continues to do so even though America is more heavily armed than it ever has been.

I'll be honest, I was putting out some bait in other threads, but these are actually my opinions. only reason it seems like I'm trolling here is because no one on tigerdroppings has liberal viewpoints in the first place.

With over 20 million firearms sales this past year (in 2013) the vast majority of those were first-time buyers. And they do not fit the stereotype that those ignorant about firearms think they do.
