The line of storms pushing through Louisiana is packing a punch. Numerous reports of wind damage and several tornado warnings in East Texas and NW Louisiana overnight.

Currently there are two active tornado warnings. One N/NE of DeRidder. Another near I-49 between Natchitoches and Alexandria.

Is it not normal in the BR area? Outside of a hurricane of course.

I noticed White caps on the Mississippi River this morning in the drive into work whilst being tossed around by the wind on the bridge.

I’ll have to get my nanny to make the trek down a couple flights of stairs and check it out. Sometimes your just cut off from the outside world in a house of this magnitude

Trash cans blown over. Trash flying up and down the street. Turrible.

Blew both my trash cans over and I had just replaced the florescent lights in my garage. Now one of them is busted all over my driveway. And the trash bag of present wrappings is no where to be found. No idea where it went.

fricking trampoline that Sanata Claus just spent 400 bucks might not make it.
about a year from now you’re gonna wish it was blown away.
A microburst hit our neighborhood last year. Ours ended up about 100 yards away from our house and into the lake. Besides from it busting up the fence it was the best thing that happened to it. Was a pain the arse to move around while cutting grass

Line came through NW Houston around 4am, it was breezy all day long. Rain came down hard with lots of lightning but no thunder.

Put together a trampoline Monday. It blew away, two backyards over last night...

Those things are the worst. Fun tip: anchor them well with a few cables and a 3 ft pole driven into ground

I lived in Boulder for a decade. People think snow. What they should think is wind . There are days where the wind gusts get over 100 miles an hour . It’s crazy. I think lots of mountain towns in different states/ Canada get a Chinook like that that would freak flatlanders out.

*Triggered

It was the 90s. America was not yet the effete, feminized society it is now. We had lightning and wind, we dealt with it. Rugged Individualism was a thing, and toxic masculinity was not. And then you guys showed up with your skinny jeans and the rest was history...

Garbage blown all over our neighborhood this a.m. our neighborhood looks, for lack of a better word, trashy.

The garbage people pretty much come when they feel like it these days.
