I got here at like 815 thinking I was lucky for missing Trisha yearwood but then after 5 or 6 Garth songs she popped out of the stage like the ring

My kids didn't even know who garth books was. I was singing "I got friends in low places" and they said dad what in the hell are you singing? I said Garth Brooks and that were like "Who is that?" I was like

There ages are between 16 -19 years old.

Is it the same show he's been playing for like 3 years now? We went two years ago in NOLA had a good time, then last year were in Bossier, and everything was exactly the same. I'm hoping my wife isn't dragging me to see Garth say and sing the exact same things a third time.

I am looking forward to chanting LSU in the Cajundome though.

I must have. I mean garth brooks and Michael Jordan are like milk and cereal for my generation. I thought everyone including my kids knew who he was.

He changed up the song line up. He added 3 or 4 of his news songs, sang some hits with the band that he hasn't played in a long time too. We had a really good time and it was prob the 5th time I've seen him since 2015.

I enjoyed the hell out of the show in NOLA a few years ago but I really don't have much of a desire to see him again. It amazes me that he's doing 5 shows in Lafayette. I don't think I ever remember a performer doing that many shows here. I remember Pearl Jam doing 3 in 1994 when touring for the VS album but that's the most I've ever hear about. Are they all sell outs? It must get old for him to do the same damn show over and over and over.

Oh, and I wonder what's he's doing for the week in between shows? No way he plans on hanging around town, right?
