It’s one of the most regulated prescriptions for physicians. You’re a little misinformed here

you don't get tired and can stay up later to drink, it's not some crazy experience

College kids who use adderall are no better than MLB players who use roids. Both make mockeries of sacred institutions

I’ve been prescribed Adderall in the past and now vyvanse. Neither are addicting in the least bit. One unintended side effect is that it greatly increases the urge to smoke cigarettes, but the medicines themselves are in no way addicting and there are no “withdrawal” symptoms.

Its already a highly controlled substance btw. I have to make a damn office visit every 3 months by law, just to get my prescription renewed.

It does wonders if you plan on day drinking and you have an event later in the evening so you can keep going.

I've seen people develop serious mental issues when abusing Adderall. And it always teands to end with some sort of demon shite or God talking to them.

fricking crazy shite, but that's what happens when you binge and don't sleep.

know more and more people who are taking Adderall as a stimulant and to gain "focus", and it's not just college kids, it's people from all walks of life.

Lots of people have poor coping skills, not just college kids.

you can just state you have trouble staying awake, lose focus, can't finish projects. It's easy to find someone to buy your bullshite and write a script.

It’s great for the gym though.

I wouldn't do hard cardio on adderrall, but weights sure.

My wife loves them, I find them to be just ok.

It’s pharmaceutical meth.

No, pharmacologically it is just amphetamine. Desoxyn is meth. Fda says good for children as young as 6 btw.

No, amphetamine salts are nothing like opiates.

That's not my point. I was speaking to the number of people who get on the stuff, and then turn to something illegal when they can't get it anymore.

As far as Adderall being much easier to quit, that's refreshing to know because my only experience is reading articles on the stuff that say it's addictive.

Honestly I've been debating on getting a script to help me get more shite done at work. I feel like a have a form of ADD, but I've made it this far in life without it so I figure I really don't need it that bad. Plus I know I'll just end up partying with it.

Not even close.

I can come off Adderall after taking it daily for months/years and the slightest side effect is irritability. Which is just me in general.

Adderall is truly government grade amphetamine. Designed so we can take it every day, get high to do what we need to do, and not die.

Never once had to use any medication to get through college nor was I ever tempted too. I guess mental toughness isn't something people value anymore.

Adderall is a stimulant. It will never be an opioid.
