I mean, I get not wanting a dog in your backyard. We just moved in a new subdivision and it has a Facebook page. Our cat went missing all day. My wife was checking the page for anyone who had seen him. She noticed quite a bit of bitchN and moanN about an orange cat that keep jumping in this dude’s backyard. She read down and noticed multiple complaints about cats visiting yards. I just don’t see the big deal.

they poop...might dig around a little bit...knock over planters..leave dead lizards...I'd say less trouble than a pit bull jumping over there

Cat people are the worst. However, I don't mind an outside cat roaming the hood keeping pests away.

Why the hell would anyone care about a cat walking through their yard?

Your neighbors sound intellectually challenged.

Depends, if it shits in my yard, yeah that's a problem.

Some people also have bird feeders and such so they probably don't want a cat back there.

Also, I have dogs that would probably go nuts if they saw a cat in the backyard, so that would be an issue.

Just having a cat in my backyard doesn’t necessarily bother me, however, when my dogs start barking at 2am at the cat in the backyard it’s really annoying. Also, that time when a cat left a partially devoured bird on my lawn wasn’t particularly pleasant either.

If all it's doing is walking around, maybe not, but my dog is definitely going to enjoy it, at least for a while. If it leaving it's "evidence" in my yard, then it definitely not welcome.

Control your damn animals!

Well the neighbors cat loves to walk around on top of my cars. Also enjoys peeing at my front door. See it walking around my backyard all the time at night.

It's not the walking part, it's the shitting part. Gardens are a big target for cats and it is quite disgusting. Yes, they can control pests just fine, but having children walk around in your yard when there is cat crap everywhere is awful.

I have. I used to have 4 cats. I saw where they shite and it was everywhere. Including in the dog's mouth also, since she loved to eat it.

a long time ago i had a chow. the neighbor had a cat that liked to walk along the top of the fence and tease the chow. one day the cat got brave enough to jump down into the yard while the dog was inside. dog scratched to go out, i opened the door and he brought me back a dead cat.

I don't have a problem with it. But if my dogs get ahold of it, i'm not gonna feel in the wrong necessarily either

If it’s just passing through I really don’t care.

If it’s taking turds, killing things or trying to rip up the screens on my windows, then yes it’s a problem.
