It's not in settings, boomer. Open the calendar app and "Calendars" is center bottom.

No such option on iPhone.

You have to go through Google in your web browser on a computer if you can’t find it in your phone.

On my calendar app, you click the three lines in the top left when you open the app and scroll down where the user is listed. That will show you all of the calendars that are shared on your calendar.

I never understood what that acronym stood for.

Kept asking people what it was and could never get a straight answer.

I just double checked mine. July 4th is still there as Independence Day.

But no gay holidays.

OP either has a gay phone or isn’t being 100% honest with us.

OK, smart one. When I open the calendar app in settings, there is no such option as you have described.

Go back and reread what I told you.

Probably not the shade you want to throw here given your predicament.

Which calendar are you opening? Google Calendar itself or the default iPhone/iPad calendar?

Multiple people in this thread have told you how to fix both.

The apple calendar tells you all the random mooslim holidays too like we need to know them or something. Probably prepping us/europe for 50 years from now.

Hasn't it been like 30-40 years since a hurricane made landfall in June?

True. I have repeatedly replied that the options they described do not show up in my calendar app in settings. Im not trying to be difficult.
However I just opened my calendar and noticed 2 things. On top left side of page there is a way in. I saw my default calendar was set to iCloud. I just changed that. And opening my gmail, yahoo, and iCloud calendar lines, I found a button called”event notification” turned on. I just turned that off for each calendar. Maybe that will do it. For those of you who truly tried to help, thanks. For the rest of yall...

Just checked my iPhone, iPad, and MacBook.

shows up on all of mine interestingly. i turned US holidays off, but it stayed on. I don't overly care, but i do think it's a bit ridiculous. the only time i really need US holidays on is Flag Day and Veterans Day just because i don't always remember to put my flag out those days. Interestingly, Flag Day doesn't show up on the calendar.

i also noticed that it has May 1 as API month, November 1 as Indigenous People month, February as Black History Month, March as First day of Women's History Month.

Do LatinX not get a month?

It isn’t in settings.

See where it says “Calendar” at the bottom of this pic?

Hold your thumb on it.

The "First Day of LGBTQ+ Pride Month" is on a Google calendar named "Holidays of the United States."

It is not on the Apple calendar named "US Holidays."

Both are accessible through the default iOS calendar app (if you have a Gmail account linked), and can be turned on or off.

Open the iOS calendar app. At the very bottom, click "Calendars" in red. Under the Gmail heading, select the check mark next to "Holidays of the United States" to turn it off. Click "Done" in the upper right.

I'm gay. I don't get this notification. I get Muslim holidays and Jewish holidays but not gay holidays.

And it's never occurred to me to be so butthurt (SWIDT) as to go to TD to complain about it. I thought snowflakes were supposed to be liberals.

His Google calendar must be syncing with his iCal and Google’s holidays are syncing over. Either that or he forgot that his boyfriends calendar is syncing to his as well.
