When I was at Auburn I can think of at least 3 groups that hazed worse than the frat I was in, one of them was the rugby team.
FWIW when I was there, there was always a member of the executive board there for these type of rush events and they were always sober and there for safety and decision making. Talking to the cops in worst case, etc. if we threw a party, someone was assigned to be sober drivers and an exec was sober and in charge.
As said, this is either made up or a bunch of idiots. A sober exec not working with the pledges and the police is just retarded.

I'm no fan of frats; but, let's cut to the chase: all of this "anti-frat/anti-hazing" stuff is directed at the Greeks simply because they're viewed as wealthy white kids. That's it. The black frats could be sawing off limbs with chainsaws and you would neeeeeever hear a peep out of the cops.

I dont mean specifically that ordeal. Being insecure is required to go through a bunch of hoops and pay money to feel like you have friends
