It was still part of the crime scene and they were allowed to hang out in the gun room. A lot of tampering could have happened.
Wait till you find out who was allowed to handle Maggie’s phone before turning it over, lol

I can’t wait for the defense to blame the Verizon guy for something.

This has been a pretty boring trial so far.

We need a Kato Kaelin type character to make it more interesting

Trial is back on from lunch. Interesting that before the Jury was allowed back in, the defense was questioning the chain of custody in regards to Paul’s phone. DH was motioning that people on the chain be brought in for testimony to ensure the chain of custody is authenticated. I think we are getting close to hearing what was discovered on the phone within the next day or so.

In the interests of following the direction: Follow the money.
Who is paying Harpootlian? AM's assets are frozen.
How is Cousin Eddy's standard of living nowadays? Better home or same place? Better truck? Getting hair cuts at a barber instead of do it himself? Of the characters (and this is a drama) we've been introduced to, Cousin Eddy is in the catbird seat to move way up in the world if certain folks remain in power. And owe him.

AM spent almost $10,000 for two AR blackout rifles at the end of 2016. He gets another one after Paul’s was stolen. Never reported it stolen.

Again for all the big 2A people in this thread
The prosecution is being allowed to let in evidence he owned big scary guns to try and convict him without actually linking any of said big scary guns to the actual crime (as of yet... I know the tool guy is coming who may try to make the link)

It is amazing what they can pull from your cellphone data. This witness is doing a hell of a job explaining everything.

Report from the courthouse with lots of photos entered into evidence.
the number of people who tried to get into Paul's phone and failed is interesting, and then the expert did. And how he did it.
The birthday guns had cost 10k total for both, the replacement for the one that Paul lost cost less than 1K because it lacked the night vision etc. sights. Also about the silencers for those guns, and they were paid for but not picked up because AM didn't fill out the paperwork. (Possibly an insight into his thoroughness in completing something he started.)

This expert witness is not the type you want if you are a defendant. Top notch and excellent in explanations.
