Wear a tux and bring a wingman.

Be sure your suit doesn't make any noise. LINK

Yeah, you want to go the polar opposite of a tux to make sure they know you have a sense of humor...

I would start researching/learning "business" jokes to add levity to the interview.

Bosses like levity and someone who isn't too serious.

I have never worn a suit to an interview. Have never had a problem getting the job offer.

Sounds like a pretty tight job.

Long sleeve button down and dockers. I was thinking of adding the tie and jacket, but I'll just follow protocol and wear one of my suits.

Thank y'all for the input.

This is where a solid black suit comes in handy. The pants look like any other black slacks.

I didn't realize he was applying for a position at a funeral home.

Change.

Better to be over dressed than under dressed.

I'd wear camo and tell them I'm hoping we'll be done in time to get to the woods before dark.

I was later told I got my current job because I was the only one who wore a suit to the interview.

I had a guy I was interviewing for a staff accountant position call me before the third interview with what would have been his co-workers and ask me what he should do.. where he currently worked was business casual, and the interview was on a Friday, when we were business casual. I said... business casual, no need to dress up and look out of place either here or there. Dude showed up in a suit. Didn't get the job. Can't follow directions, apparently.
