Apparently, there’s an ongoing “war” between the boat people and local authorities trying to remove and destroy their boats. Looks like something out of Waterworld.

There's an app that shows locations of literal homeless shite piles and this is what they're worried about?

It is comical how as soon as a person can not get taxed or controlled, the government looks for ways to change that.

I’m gonna go live on a boat and just park off the coast and stay to myself.

Government: you can’t park here

That was a great documentary so thanks for sharing.

On the one hand, you feel for these folks because there is no way they can pay rent anywhere.

On the other hand - and more importantly IMO - if you owned a house in Sausalito/Marin area and there are junk boats within eye sight, it could very well affect property values and crime rates. Cali is such an ironic state though. They want to act like they give a damn about the homeless yet are there busy booting them out. They want all the accolades for being humanitarians yet when it directly affects them, then they throw a hissy fit.

At 1:37 you can clearly see the sea serpent, just to the right of the bouy.

That is how the city got founded in the first place. Folks pulled up boats and lived off them in the early days.

If someone isn't on their property, they need to suck it up. Protecting property values has become a major problem.

I sure am not feeling sorry for some bitch complaining because a boat looks junky on public waters within eyesight.

Yup. They'll allow homeless camps everywhere, won't do anything about the street shitting junkies shooting up on the sidewalk, but god forbid someone live on a boat not bothering anyone

Remember a reality show about the boat people up in Canada. I think it took place on The Great Slave Lake or something up there but it was the same type of independent people that didn't want to pay taxes.
