Interesting how much of life navigates on three dimensions but there’s also a lot on two

Birds and flying insects operate on an x, y, z space and much of underwater life does too. Birds fly and fish swim and moving up and down is just as natural to them as back/forward/left/right is to us. And then there’s that part of life that succumbs to gravity and lives it’s life entirely on a plane and the idea of an up / down travel is by and large a rather alien one.

This is a depressing thought when I consider that you are likely not a drug user. Then again, it’s more worthless than depressing.

I thought it was interesting. Saw a pic of fish swimming and started thinking wow it must be neat to go up and down without any thought.

I’m actually really into science with regard to space, time and dimension. Explain what you’re trying to say?

Humans, trees, caterpillars, coral, snails. We’re all grounded by and large to this irregularly shaped plane that is the surface of the earth. Gravity dictates that we live our existence almost exclusively traversing it, there is no up and down movement. Fish and birds for different reasons do t face those limitations. They are able to move in not only and x and y axis but a z one as well. Their natural state is doing something that much of life on earth cannot, and I think that’s neat.

It’s not so much a gravitational effect on us because gravity has it effects on birds and fish as well, it’s just we do not have gills or bone structure that make us able to do those things.

I have but that’s not the default existence for humans. Most of our travel is done along a plane.

..or on an escalator, or swing set? jumped, crawled, climbed, gone up/down a hill,...

I utilize X,Y,Z planes daily lmao, and don't even think about it much.

I think he’s saying it not a natural thing. We can climb stairs and use elevators but these things assist us in doing it. It’s not within our DNA to move like fish and birds.

eh i don't understand the thought that using tools is unnatural for humans. I contend tool usage is "in our DNA". Our tools just aren't as developed/intuitive as their biology is yet.
