Humans, trees, caterpillars, coral, snails. We’re all grounded by and large to this irregularly shaped plane that is the surface of the earth. Gravity dictates that we live our existence almost exclusively traversing it, there is no up and down movement. Fish and birds for different reasons do t face those limitations. They are able to move in not only and x and y axis but a z one as well. Their natural state is doing something that much of life on earth cannot, and I think that’s neat.

I like these kind of threads. Had a very similar thought on a certain type of substance before.

It was revelationary and I should have wrote it down because I can't quite understand it sober

I live on a 4 dimensional plane. Its hard for me to dumb down your post enough for my superior intellect to grasp.

Our tools just aren't as developed/intuitive as their biology is yet.

Exactly. Humans have not “evolved” the way fish and bird have therefore, it’s not intuitive to move as they do.

Yes, we have to knowledge to operate machinery and can do so with ease but we are not self sufficient in where we can move the way birds and fish do without help.

Saw a pic of fish swimming and started thinking wow it must be neat to go up and down without any thought.

I've always considered this but metaphorically. Most people live in 2D and are incapable of seeing the world in 3D

Actually time is a dimension and we are the one beings on earth that fully understand it.

Chimps remember things and learn but they don’t know last Tuesday from last Christmas.

That’s why the 5th Dimension group was 5th (in addition to there being 5 of them).
