Would be a great idea if thousands of people didn’t flock to grocery stores to buy shite because they are afraid of being stuck inside for two weeks.

Wash your hands (like you should have learned as a child, avoid personal contact and wear disposable gloves before touching anything "public." You'll be fine.

So here’s the question, normally, between Jan-March there are many many different viruses, much like Coronavirus sweeping through our country. Do we shut everything down for 3-4 months every year when viruses are at their peak from now on?

There are not viruses like this Coronavirus sweeping through our communities. It’s a novel virus. All these other viruses have been around meaning (1) our community has some level of acquired immunity, (2) we may establish some level of herd immunity through vaccines and (3) our medical system has established protocols on how to deal with them.

We don't trust the media because they've earned our distrust.
So, when something real comes along why should we trust them.
