The SAT numbers for LA are probably skewed because most students only take the ACT. SAT is only for smart kids going out of state.

The states that require all students to take the ACT are going to have a lower average ACT score. This analysis did not take that into account. Likewise, some states have a very small percentage of students taking the SAT and most of those students are the ones trying to get scholarships to top universities.

Very flawed analysis.

Test results that are not normalized for a representative sample of the entire population cannot be used.

I posted my results in the last IQ thread we had.

That's 135-155 depending on the scale. In short, I'm supporting half of south central LA singlehandedly.

So are you saying the more religious a state, the dumber?

Thomas Sowell wrote about this in his book Intellectuals and Race.

This is not a recent development. White people in the North being smarter than those in the South goes back to the people who originally immigrated to and settled in various regions of the US. Smarter, more industrious people ended up in the North. If they weren’t smart enough to make it up there, they moved South to do labor.

North people worked in factories... Not much intellect required

If you read Sowell than you already know that there are massive cultural divides between races, particularly in the South. You should read "Black Rednecks and White Liberals" and "Wealth, Poverty and Politics". Sowell is one of my favorite authors.
