re: Instead of complaining about Baton Rouge...
There are tons of Catholics in BR. I'd say it's easily the largest denomination in the region among white people at least.

My favorite is complain about BR but you work here, dine here, go to LSU games here, shop here, etc.

I get your logic but it is not like a quarter million people who left EBR since and before Katrina are just going to come back next week, take over the electorate and the school system. Things are the way they are because of things that went down in the 60s. EBR is mainly a welfare state banana republic and I dont see it ever changing. One could hope though

Very true.

If white people in Zachary and Central bothered to vote we wouldn't even have Broome.

I love how both white flight and gentrification are seen as racist. It creates a no win situation.

Maybe you BR people should fix your own damn city so that people can stop moving out to AP. I miss the old AP and it’s because of the incompetence of BR that created this new, more city like AP.

Maybe some of you baws should move out of your Ascension Parish tract houses and into EBR instead. That way you could vote there and try to change it. The reason Broome got elected is because baws like you all fled. Once you flee, you have no right to complain.

Why has this never been suggested here before?

Heyyy Don't you attack me you fricker.
We moved out here for Dutchtown High.
My son graduates in a couple months and we will be moving back to BR within the next 2 years.

We love Baton Rouge.

EBR’s schools are bad because it’s a rotten system more so than a bad batch of students.

What demographic is running EBR schools?

Functional children can't learn in a dysfunctionalenvironment and the major factor in a dysfunctional school environment is the students.

Still think the Baptists have the edge here. There’s a shite ton of Baptists along 190, I-12 and up 61. It gets super North LA-ish real quick.
