It’s insulting and retarded. Not a crime though.

It is a moral crime based on their own judeo Christian values.

It's an actual crime if those things are used for personal use and claimed as ministry business.

I did not say that. Sweet straw man though.

All of the proper values you want are literally written down in a book.

A book which was the first commercially printed and has the most copies in circulation on Earth.

Unless you're saying he has some new knowledge not based on biblical teachings....

Which would make him a heretic, based on the bible

They definitely have the connections to buy those shoes on release day and pay the retail price. And now that they have worn them they will never bring the dollar amount on that page. Those resell prices are for never worn never tried on.

Fraud and embezzlement are crimes, where does it say that having money is a crime? Unless the pastor is committing fraud or theft or embezzlement, it’s not necessarily a crime for him to have money.

Unless you’re talking about a preacher who actually committed a crime, I’m not following your logic.

I do not follow these prosperity preachers like Duplantis and Osteen. But it’s neither a crime nor a sin for a preacher to have money.

If they are using ANYTHING PURCHASED and registered as an asset of the ministry for personal use...it's a crime

ETA: Ever wonder why they throw you a bible verse when going to their house? Because now it's business related

I get this. Everyone should be responsible for their own actions, but selling religion is like selling drugs.

Their addiction is to that church and they get their fix by donating and donating to the church. Then these churches don't have to pay taxes. I don't blame the "pastors" who do it, they are not doing anything illegal.

I agree. I think you and I are talking about two different things here. I’m referring to a given pastor’s salary.

Is this a book, or a movie, or a band? Or a combination?

Before opening the page, I figured Hillsong would be well represented.

I was correct.

The prestos and 1s are amazing

I highly doubt they got any of them for retail.

Won't they be judged in heaven?

Just wait for your vengence then; and you can laugh at them all the way to hell.

Didn’t read article but was it confirmed he actually purchased the sneakers rather than they were gifted to him?

Basically all of those shoes prices are exaggerated, but I get it, people want to find reasons to be offended with preachers.

Alright, the bible is full of passages that can be one off quotes.

The book itself is hypocritical.

Wasn't Matthew about not judging unless you yourself want to be judged?

Psalms says you shouldn't be jealous when when another man grows wealthy.

Using religion to fight religion is hypocritical. Turn the other cheek. Who really cares except hypocrites themselves.

If you are non believer then just stay the hell out of others business.
