Interesting and long read on where the location would've been and lengths the city went to in making promises.

The number of Dallas residents wanting Amazon, on the other hand, is probably south of 10%.

They're putting two towers in downtown Nashville with 5,000 employees.

And everyone on here said Nashville was crazy to think Amazon would consider them.

People generally said Nashville was a hot market and lacked the infrastructure for the project...

...and Amazon clearly agreed.

Ya Amazon has a 1,000 person office they've been building up in Austin. 5,000 is a great thing but it isn't really "HQ2" sized.
