You do realize that no one (including children) really needs milk after they have fully transitioned to other diets. Calcium exists in many things, and there is a reason a large portion of the world has dairy intolerance. The GI tract changes as it goes through development from breast fed infant to more independent toddler with teeth. I love me some yogurt, ice cream and cheese as much as the next person, but this idea that milk makes you healthier is pure PR from the dairy industry.

The children all got ill with a rare bacteria. All children had formula from the same plant (not just the same company, the same physical plant). That same plant also was found to be contaminated with the same type of bacteria that infected the children, in such a way that it could impact the product. Said bacteria is also known to thrive in environments similar to the product that this plant shipped out.
That's a pretty clear result of an outbreak investigation, and it doesn't point to another source.

The feds ordered it shut down for months and never found a single example of contaminated product after hundreds of samples were taken and tested. Then dragged their feet on reopening it, likely for political reasons.
So screw the FDA for being useless pricks that spent months over there only to find “possible” issues far away from the product. And screw Joe Biden for not caring that infants can’t get the formula they need.
Everyone that tries to justify this progressive bureaucratic debacle clearly hasn’t had kids that needed formula. Maybe learn to empathize a little and try to focus on what’s important for your fellow Americans rather than whatever wedge issues the media wants you to look at.

My attitude exactly.
As far as I’m concerned, they’ve prioritized pretend issues over real ones. And we have rapidly rising fuel costs, soaring inflation, formula shortages, skyrocketing violent crime, and weak border security because of it.

The formula shortage is an issue created by the Biden administration. The media is probably going to dismiss any concerns over the duration of the government ordered shutdown as racist.
The only way they could possibly care less about a premature babies in flyover country is if they were involved in an opioid crisis. I think that might be the federal government’s lowest priority.
