Thought I was doing alright until the last couple weeks started looking for child care for my 9month old in our market.

It’s going to cost me about $800-$1000 a week to have a college student come sit at the house and make sure my boy doesn’t kill himself while my wife is on and off zoom meetings in the other room.

I’m 35 and thinking about entering into semi retirement to run our little homestead once this job is done.

PJ drives a 89 Honda prelude and has $2500 worth of porches on the front AND back side of his trailer in Watson

One of my best friends in high school drove an 86 Pontiac Sunbird. I can't imagine him driving anything else.

19 yo freshman neighbor balked at $28/hr cash 8hr days Monday through Thursday. to come sit on my couch and watch Netflix while making sure my kid doesn’t dive head first down the stairs. Albeit while my wife is home too

Honestly I make between 60-70K a year

Which is of course peasantry by the OT’s standards. Most posters here make that in a month

We not talking some skilled teacher that’s a certified baby sitter.
