The other students that allowed this to happen are just as culpable. This would not have happened in front of me. Not 12 year old me or 50 year old me.

I’m not condoning it, or celebrating it. It’s horrible, but I’m also able to multi task in putting it into perspective of a kid in school, not something that just happened or even happened when he was an adult.
Just because I think it’s fricking ridiculous to rake this person over the coals for what he did when he was a little kid does not mean I fricking endorse his actions as a child. It just means I understand that he was a kid, and you can’t go back in time and correct what you did as a little kid.
