In the year 1976 airliner ONA (Overseas National Airways) had a confederate themed livery

The USA plane was painted for the Bicentennial. I'm not sure why someone thought it would was good idea to have the Stars and Bars on a 2nd aircraft. 
ONA existed from 1950 until 1978. Their headquarters was in New York City with their main hub at JFK.
