Yep. Highs as high as 77 and lows as low as 50. It’s pretty much in the 70s from Jan - Dec.

I’d say the NC piedmont for variety.

Can always escape to Highlands or Banner Elk to cool down for a weekend if needed.

I like the change in seasons. I enjoy it being cold for several months (within reason) and warm at other times.

How about just the best May - August climate for those of us who want a summer home.

Like high 60s - low 80s with moderate humidity and minimal rain storms

If you want seasons, too far north and the winters would be too cold. I think somewhere around Louisville, KY might be the sweet spot to get all four seasons and still have the winter not just be dreadful

When I was stationed out west, we lived in Laguna Hills. The first year we were there, we ran the AC three days on Labor Day weekend. The rest of the year, we just opened the windows. Perfect weather.

San Diego is only 2.5 hours from Big Bear. They get a good bit of snow during winter and have a few ski resorts.

You can literally snow ski that morning and hang out on the beach that afternoon.

Wife and I have been tracking summer temps. Some of the Midwestern states--Wisconsin and Michigan in particular, seem milder than most states currently.

Sounds like San Francisco is just right for you.

Noticed that is the ideal location to move, climatewise. Unfortunately, the COL and the current state of the city make it a hard no for us.

Southern California has the best weather. There’s a reason so many people with the income to live anywhere choose to live there.

Otherwise, I’d say NC/VA area has a decent blend of the four seasons.

For me, probably coastal Oregon. 4 seasons with neither extreme. Temps range between 32-85 most years.

I looked up the temp for Medford yesterday and that shite said 102 degrees! Not heat index, legit 102! Mississippi felt like a furnace yesterday and the temp wasn't even as high (although the heat index was). Couldn't believe it.

We're starting to zero in on Colorado--specifically, the Boulder and Colorado Springs areas.

SF is way too cold and foggy most of the year. It's gray and dreary. Marin County is better but still cold. Sonoma County is usually perfection. A little more weather/heat than SD, but every night the temp drops 30-40 degrees after sundown. I might move back if the Houston heat scrambles my brain. I used to be a climate princess but some things are more important than getting by without AC year round.
