Hey OP you forgot the air defense missile system Russia put in Suria too. You know, for all those fight jets ISIS has. It's amazing what people believe.

I might be wrong but I thought they are bombing the Syrian Free Army fighting against Assad. Not Isis.

The Russians won't have their hands tied behind their backs throughout this short campaign.

Putin is going to make an example of these assholes to send a message to everyone else.

Russia plays this other sport with a round ball not a pointy end ball. One of the position names for a defender or centerback is fullback. It is so named becase the player plays fully back on defense. This sport throughout the world is called Football or Futbol or Futball. We in this country call that sport soccer. So a jet named Defender seems aptly named.

That's its NATO code name. All Russian fighters are given a code name starting with "F", bombers get names starting with "B", cargo carriers get "C", and helicopters get "H".

All the names you see listed in the OP are all NATO code names. It's not what the Russians call then.

Yeah, because Russia has a great history of taking out local fighters in Middle East countries.

Oh wait...

Take Putin's cock out of your mouth.

They are not taking it to ISIS. They are taking it to the group within Syria that is fighting both ISIS and the Assad regime.

They had a place in Ohio selling two Flankers for $5m.
I wish I was a 1%er that would be my chariot of choice (It had all English controls too)

I agree that we spend too much time trying to police the world. But one thing we should keep in mind is that if we do draw back to our own borders and allow the chips to fall where they may around the world, we will then have to accept the consequences of what that world would look like.

As for the Middle East, we've wasted our time trying to bring democracy to a region that despises democracy and to be honest, cannot even really comprehend it. If we're going to be involved in the Middle East, our one and only goal should be a stable (and at least somewhat friendly) Middle East. And what people are going to have to accept here is that means instead of things like the "Arab Spring", it will mean strong, even dictatorial powers will be in place. Only two types of government work well in the Middle East, dictatorship or absolute monarchy. Anything else leads to anarchy.

Oh I get that. Had we left Saddam there he would keep Iran in check and Syria would be nothing right now.

We took him out, the strongest person in the region and we have to pay the stupid consequences.

Dictators are the only thing that works for them. I mean we also cherry pick. Saudi Arabia is horrible to some of it's citizens and they kill people just for converting to Christianity, but they have oil and sell it us to us..

We also use our military to transport their luxury items and that's just BS (My cousin posted a picture to his FB and them promptly deleted it of his Air Force cargo plane filled with Mercedes Benz in route to Saudi from Germany)
