It's nice to meet a sane LSU fan.
The hick UF fan threw that "thing" down to the players. I'm sure he intended to make fun of the death of Mike. I think that's in poor taste.
I don't expect a bunch of 18-21 year old kids celebrating a victory to understand what was going on immediately and throw it back.
If they continue this then I'll criticize the players with the rest of you and call their behavior unbecoming and embarrassing.

I mean I always laugh when I hear fans complain about other fans.
I grew up in a non-college football crazy part of the country. If you wore a college shirt there's a good chance you actually attended the school.
When I moved to Florida I thought everyone attended college.
We all have shite stain fans and some pecker head players.
No one is immune from it unfortunately. It always seems to be drunk frat boys and older drunk "sidewalk" fans that cause the problems. We all have plenty of those.
ETA: I've always said if you drop UGA fans into the Swamp, give them orange and blue gear and sprinkle them with Gator fairy dust you would not be able to tell the difference other than a touch fewer jorts.
Same goes for Arky, LSU, Bama, Auburn, etc.

agreed, but in my experience, I've seen no other fan base so willingly go out of their way to be assholes towards fans of the opposing team, I mean they will literally cross the street to harass someone, and not in a good natured rivalry sort of way, now aTm may be starting to take some heat off of you guys

This sort of thing will bother half, the other half wont give a shite. Me, I didn't really see the huge deal in it. Is it kinda fricked up that a toothless man brought it, NAH. He gets it. Is it kinda fricked up that when it was thrown on the sidelines, the players started to "go with it" and can be seen messing with it, PROBABLY. Do I give a shite, negative. Do I hope that this gets plastered all throughout the LSU football facility, frick YES.
