I feel like we have to let this stuff go.
You'd have a hard time convincing me that there wouldn't be some drunk redneck/Cajun who would pull a similar stunt if Florida had a live mascot that died.
It's not like a group of sidewalk fans represent the University or program (our case too, thankfully).
Besides, they are just looking for a reaction and plenty of people who didn't even go to LSU will give them just the one they are looking for...

If I was Florida fans this might be an away game I would want to skip. Real or not it's perception and a lot of these LSU fans are already pissed because of the disrespect LSU has received by Florida AD, SEC commissioner and the media in general, some of these fans will be looking to get drunk and take out their frustration on innocent Florida fans.
