I've heard the same type of thing about fans of other teams. I've seen it at UG/UF in Jax from both sides.

It's usually some drunk frat star.

There were two UG fans drunk as shite (frat boys) that ran by a group of UF fans two years ago. ONe of them touched one of the UF fans as he ran by taunting.

I grabbed that one by the arm and asked him if we was crazy. Four on two isn't good odds. I then pointed out that his friend just abandoned him when all I was doing was talking to him nicely. What the hell would he have done in a real fight? I told him to be nicer.

I did the same thing to a drunk frat star in Gainevsille. The UF drunk was giving a UT fan hell and several of us stood in between him and told him he was an idiot and to treat other fans like guests. He cowered like drunk frat stars usually do when confronted. He was smart because some of the group I was with wanted to beat him for being so rude and I'm not sure the cop would have cared. He was watching the whole time.

I'll do my part to keep the fools checked. Everyone should do the same and we'll all be better off watching football with fellow Americans.
