I saw that too, but it still burns me up. Doesn't matter when it happened. It's the first time I've read it.

I used to see things like this and think to myself, "oh man, that's horrible. I feel bad for the family, etc." But after having kids of my own and reading stuff like this, it makes me irrationally angry or incredibly terrified that something like that could happen to mine. Mostly anger at how little some people value life.

I'm sorry, but impaired driving needs severe consequences. Injuring or killing an innocent person should be treated similar to pulling a trigger on a gun.

I have no tolerance for drunk/impaired/distracted driving. Was almost killed by a drunk driver 5 years ago, was lucky to survive.
