Our two-year-old with anger-control issues refused to stay with the babysitter, so we had to take her with us.

I recently lived with a two year old. They suck at controlling any emotion.

Lol. anger control issues

They don't call them the "terrible twos" for nothing.

Kind of a false hope misnomer, but "terrible 2s through 5s" doesn't sound as catchy.

I think it was the first day of child psych, one simple statement made my future parenting much easier, “reward behaviors you want repeated and punish those you don’t.”

It’s not hard. Threaten “pow pow” early, follow through once or twice, and you will have far fewer problems later. But most of the weak arse parents figured out the obvious too late, if at all.

That 2 year old will be a He/They in about 8 years and Daddy will be so proud of her bravery.

My dad would’ve lit my arse up and told me to behave and if I didn’t.. I would get another whooping when they got home . This behavior would not be tolerated .

Yup. "stop crying or I'll give you a real reason to cry" and we knew he wasnt scared to take his belt off either. Sometimes he'd warn us with the nails pinch to the back of the arm.
