Dont these couyons know that those things taste better than the satsumas growing in Uncle Dadut's yard.

There's a board for this now, it's no longer deemed off topic

I used to make wine out of them but it's too much trouble depitting that many. I eat some here and there and the birds can have the rest.

Those are Japanese Plums. I have two huge trees full. They are chicken cocaine. The chickens wait for them to fall.

Japanese loquats ( BIWA)- pronounced Bee wa -from KYUSHU are my all time favorite fruit. It seems they have about a month long season and the key is to eat them when they’ve ripened perfectly. It’s unbelievably juicy and sweet and you can sit there and eat a bag of them. The perfect fruit.

I was walking by our condo in New Orleans and ran across a tree, picked a few and ate them just as delicious as I remember

I'm assuming you're talking about Mespilus which is a genus of plants. Your pictures are of a loquat, also called Japanese or Chinese Plum. Loquats and Mespilus are both in the Rosaceae family but are different genus (Loquat is Eriobotrya japonica).
