I interact with a fair amount of college age kids in my line of work since they're receptionist or secretaries, the need to abbreviate everything drives me up the wall. Today I got hit with, "on the reg". What? Regular is to hard to say, is it?
To the OP. I divorced when I was 34. I dated younger, and married younger, because I didn't want didn't want baby daddy drama or divorced drama. I had my own shite going on, didn't need to add to it.

No need to downvote. You’re absolutely correct. I’m 34. My semi-recently divorced buddy just got engaged to a 25 year old. Going out with her group of friends is painfully annoying. If I wasn’t married I wouldn’t actually date a girl younger than 27-28. Anything younger isn’t far enough removed from college imo.
