I’m sure you can find other food that taste so horrible you need pounds of seasoning just to make edible.

The problem isn’t so much the labor but running the traps for a fraction of what you were catching before the cold, and waiting for the catch to come back up

Tbh I’m with you on that. I would rather a steak or some catfish. I’m grateful for the faithful that love crawfish, but I sometimes don’t even eat boiled crawfish during the season.

The big wildcard isnt the cold, it’s the snow. The crawfish industry hasn’t seen snow like this ever.
