Updates from the OP?
There are no updates because John McClane investigated the OP and he's trolling everyone. Some thread about he's dating a porn star or something like that.

I don't think growing up means having kids or getting married. It's good that you know you're not ready for that. But, 27 is the new 22? No, 27 is 27. That's why people hate millenials. Bunch of Peter Pan syndrome narcissists. Grow up.

Welcome to the present time traveler ! We don't have separate water fountains, we don't have milkmen, and we take things for a test drive to see if we want to buy them. Maybe you prefer a "but what's behind door #2?" Approach but most aren't that naive.
The present, where marriage is doing so well as an institution?
Why should anyone take your advice about marriage? Your experience seems to have soured you, but it doesn't say much about what someone else's experience might be.

He may have wanted the marriage when he asked. I think he started to realize after the proposal.
Not unusual for people to want something different over time.

Most trolls develop into a good discussion eventually

Probably when he finally found those porn movies she dabbled in.

Hey, remember when I wrote that post to you telling you dwelling on the past is worthless? You just replied with the exact same thing except in all caps

Marriages should come with the "your mileage may vary" disclaimer because blanket statements and skewed statistical data doesn't really represent it in favor of either side of the argument.
And OP was busted as being a liar, why is this still being discussed?

Ehh, I've grown up for sure. I don't even have a desire to dabble in narcotics anymore and am certainly more career oriented than I was when I was say 25. May have been a bit of an exaggeration to say 27 is the new 22, but I think its a whole lot more acceptable for a 27 year old to act more immature now than say 40 years ago. We're living much longer than we did a century ago, so why shouldn't the stages of our lives be more spread out rather than the way they were done in the 50s?

Well, OP was busted as a guy who wrote a thread asking what would you do if you found out a woman had done porn 3 years into the relationship.
It could have been about him
It could have been about his buddy
It could have been a troll (like this one?)
It could have been about what he "should" have done in this relationship a long time ago
No telling really

1) I have 12hrs to kill
2) It is a legitimate discussion
3) 90% of the stuff on this site is a lie

A great marriage is one of the best things you could get in life. Why should it be easy to get?
Oh you want a lifelong partner who will love you, support you, share your dreams and visions, make you a better person, be a great parent to your offspring, etc and you want to not have to work to get that? Good luck with that.
