Mine was
him: "thank you for not crying and getting hysterical"
me: "you're just a guy, I'll get over you"
that was not the answer he was expecting...a life well lived and all that jazz

I have some advice, but I've never been banned from TD and want to keep it that way.

So he took the stuff and has spent 15 years trying to win me back and has never found another woman he loved like he did me.
As for me, I started dating an acquaintance and after a month of dating, he proposed and he was my absolute soulmate - far from having to lower my standards, he was a gorgeous firefighter who adored me. He had just never revealed that before because we had both been in long term relationships.
Don't be surprised if there is someone who always wanted her and quickly moves in and shows you just what you lost.
I thank my lucky stars that my ex broke up with me
Nope, no bitterness, I am still friends with him and he wants me to help him solve his relationship problems over why he cant find someone like me. I feel bad for him but a deal is a deal. He wanted all the stuff and lost me in the deal. Maybe one day he will have a chance again but for now I am married and faithful (and yes my husband knows I talk to the ex and that the ext still wants me)

Make the loss of someone else's kids about you, whore.

Ah I do remember that thread, just didn't keep up with it.. But yes that's kinda what happened not only was she miserable to the point of just being zombie like but it affected everyone else. For the record I wasn't mad or upset with you just didn't realize this was the thread you were referencing..

I also wonder if they really met in grad school ten years ago.
That would put him at 23 and her at 22, and that's assuming they immediately started dating.

Paige, those of us who are kidows ( lost a child or children) never move on. 3-1/2 years post loss in the infancy of the grief process. Your friend is not making herself miserable, she is in agony. I remember being there. I am 11 years out and it is still very hard. Please let your friend know about a Facebook site named, "Grieving Mothers". We will welcome her warmly and she will have a place with others with so much in common. Thanks.

So it's just been the past 3 weeks that this not only crossed his mind, but also started a thread about it?
Gotta be a troll, and a long one at that. Bravo OP. Bravo.

That's what got me too.
Starts a thread about having a SO (and implying everything is great) then a month later is breaking her heart

Unless you have some more context, I guess I'm failing to see the inconsistency. Are there no 22 and 23 y/o students in grad school where you're from?
ETA: Saw your earlier re-post of the pornstar hypothetical.
Lols. Some of these guys have too much time on their hands.

Seriously, it's one of the best troll threads in the history of this site. The OP needs to come back, just say it was a long con, and then take a bow.

I understand, just want more details.
Doesn't change the fact he was posting about his SO, seemingly in relationship bliss, less than a month ago
