I am amazed at all these plant workers here at the Shell gas station in Port Allen who needs to get back to Beaumont, Texas because they don’t have enough gas money to get back.

Are these people who work for contractors in the plants? They are the worst. A relative of mine has a small trailer park and there is one permanent resident and the rest are people from out of town.. some from out of state and its unbelievable how many of those fricks stay on the job 2-3.... 4 weeks before they get popped with a drug test or do something to get run offed.
If you are going to go out of state to work, I would think you would take your job more serious. I don't get it.

Hell no, I put gas every morning in my work truck at the Shell on Lobdell off the interstate and I get all these guys telling me the same story every week and show me their Twic card to prove they are not lying lol. I usually have two guys come up to me and others saying the same story every other day but this morning was five guys with the same story. I always give them the same answer, I’m using my company’s credit card to pump gas.

They are at race trac a good bit too. I’ve ran into a few trying to get back to lake Charles from hurricane Laura which was two years ago.

I haven’t seen what you’re describing, but a few years ago I had a lady driving a big fancy SUV pull up to the gas pump next to me and give me a sob story about trying to take her mom to Lafayette to see her dying aunt but couldn’t afford to put any gas in the tank.
