Disney is an awesome place. Just so much to do and everything is perfectly ran to the T.
It's freaky how they do all what they do.
Universal and islands of adventure were my favorite thou. Lot of great rides for the older ages.

How much does Disney cost on average for a family of 4?

Trip at 17 was for Senior Night so the park was closed except for HS Seniors. Virtually no lines for anything.
Same here. Certain parts of the parks were untouched by other school groups. Rode the Tower of Terror thirty times in a row and never had to wait.

So you didn't have to negotiate with Terrorists?

I didnt read the entire thread but I'm guessing Its filled with people that went to Disney once or twice as a kid or that have never been saying how shitty it is. Some are making fun of adults who like disney and some are telling you to take a real vacation to an actual 3rd world country. How close am I?

Only saw it (TT) once but thanks for the reference, I wouldn't have got there on my own.

I'm taking 3 kids in May and I think it will cost around $500 per day plus food and gas there and back.

I didn't go until I was 33. I've been 3 times the last 16 months.
Damn
I went for the first time at age 28 in July 2013. Went back right before last thanksgiving . I would like to back towards the end of 2016 or early 2017.

I'm 24 and my family is part of DVC (Disney Vacation Club) and I know this is gonna get me so many "First world problems" comments, but it's a pain in the arse. You have to go 7 days a year (or at least on our plan, you do) and while I enjoy the resorts, extra curricular stuff and food, the parks for the most part always bored me. I do like a few of them, but nothing that makes me say, "oh man I can't wait to go to Disney!"

To be fair, the last one wasn't planned. It was for UCA Cheer International Championships. I got that dropped in my lap with about 6 weeks to pay.

Why not go somewhere else? I know they have a resort in Hilton Head.

My favorite day at Disneyworld was the day I left.

29, no kids, and we have been twice in the past 14 months. Most recent trip was a little over 2k including hotel, tickets, flights, and meal plan. It's not absurdly expensive or over-crowded if you have any capacity at all for smart planning. There are things we'd like to do more of and less of next time, but we very much enjoy ourselves while we're there.

40, never been, but taking the kiddos in 2-3 years. Been to pretty much every six flags in existence, was always more about roller coasters, plus could catch a ball game in most six flag cities. Bigger appeal to me
