She is probably the product of a pool accident. Her parents may have dove into a shallow gene pool.

She'll have to drain her accounts. Situation is about to blow up. Maybe she can slosh some funds together quickly. When it rains, it pours.

While never commuting in a pool on a roof, I've been in some neat seats in the 70's and 80's.

Countless truck bed trips spanning local to seriously rides as a kid from Texas to Arkansas or Oklahoma. We loved it and no one cared. Riding in a bumper pulled camper is another great time. Life was awesome.

There must be an engineer on this board who can give a rough estimate of the uplift of the pool at 35mph and the weight of the water and four guys in the pickup truck bed.

My very rough guess for each. 600 pounds of uplift. 2600 pounds of water and four dudes.

What if it had been in the bed of a truck. I might know someone or been there when the bed of a truck was filled up with water and drive around town with people in it.

Kids today will have no awesome stories to share.

"The most awesome thing I ever did was tap the Ipad apps that was hanging from the seat in front of me all the while being double locked into my child seat and wearing my safety helmet. That was such a rush!"

Cut us some slack....Our life long dream after paying off the trailer was to get our own swimming pool.

My wife didn’t want to pay for shipping & the kids already have some chromosome damage...so it all worked out.

I'm guessing that the last time she borrowed her friend's pump she failed to return it. I respect her friend's hard line stance of making her inflate it at her house.

On a related note, my dad once had me do the same thing with a ladder when I was a teenager. We weren't going far and I didn't think twice about it.
