Louisiana Revised Statute 32:71

You would be surprised how many people dont know alot of laws yet still have a drivers license and are shocked when they are stopped.

I never was a big ticket writer but ignorance is bliss for most drivers.

that's a law in a lot of states that most people don't seem to be aware of, the state of Florida abuses it as a yuuuugge money grab though

they'll work in twos, one pulls a car over, on either side of the freeway, the other car pulls in behind the guy writing the ticket to wait for someone to not move over to the center or far lane and then goes after them, the first car , after writing the ticket, pulls in behind the second car and does the same thing, I've watch them "leap frog" up and down the interstate all day long doing that

driving with their phone in front of their face while going 60mph in the left hand lane. See it all the time.

Odds are exactly what that car was doing going full speed and struck the car first from the left. Guy on the right practically did the exact same thing. At least he was texting and driving in the slow lane

Tell us that you have never driven near Chicago without telling us that you have never driven in Chicago.
They rival NYC or NOLA for crazy drivers.

Yes.

The other tactic is to pull a bit ahead of the original stopped suspect vehicle and watch in rearview and pop the next "non-yielder".

I could write a book but I would rather drink beer and play with my grandkids.

Life has sure passed me by.

Stay educated was my word to everyone once I realized I could not save the world at the ripe old age of 25. Any educated populous is not a bad think.

It’s an epidemic. That one who
struck the car had to be looking at phone as well.

Seems like the driver of the stalled vehicle was about to exit out of the passenger seat, and therefore not restrained by a seat belt. They then take a hit from the driver side, and an immediate direct hit from the passenger side. How close to 0 is the chance this person survived

Yes. I know there are laws against cruising in the left lane. That isn't the point of my question. The point is I've never heard of these laws enforced like say speeding laws are. There are freight trucks on the basin routinely driving in the left lane. Not only are they not passing, but the law, expressed by multiple signs on the bridge no less, says they shouldn't be in the left lane EVER. Yet, you routinely see police dangerously shooting radar on very narrow shoulders, but never an 18-wheeler pulled over.

Basin bridge aside, I've never known anyone to get a left lane cruising ticket anywhere. That's why I was curious where you were enforcing because it pleases me.

Gotta love inconsiderate drivers. A cop car in the middle of the street with his lights on and everyone is just humming by at 80 mph completely ignoring the situation.
