In the full video, sounds like the boss is in the wrong.

yeah, the boss sounds like a dipshit and fricked up his check but isnt taking responsibility for it

the dude could have obviously handled it a lot better, and even made the point to say that he knows it cant be fixed now but wants to be reimbursed on the next check

so give him the remainder next week and say bye, you cant get in your bosses face like that and not expect to be fired

Had I shorted someones check and he responded that way I would probably reimburse his missed time and tell him not to let the door hit him on the way out.

Fired.

Pretty shitty if the boss has no clue what time you get there or leave and he is making up times for your pay.

Employee still could've handled it differently but the boss seemed like a dick so...

the business looked like the employee really wouldn't have had any recourse. Boss looked and acted like a bosses son.

This along with filing a restraining order so when he comes back and I put a few holes in his chest, there is something to fall back on.
Actually had to file a restraining order on a former employee this year. He got let go for no performing and threatened to "make the BR police shootings look like child's play". Sheriff didn't like that too much and was happy to go serve his arse.

Even if that guy got the best of me I would not let that guy get in my face like that.

I would have handled it better though.

My guess would be contract labor in some sort of basic construction.

I would have paid him for his missing hours then fired him.

But I probably would have smoked him as soon as he touched me though so we probably would have both been arrested.

Looks the opposite to me. The employee asks the boss are you here when I get here. Boss replied no. Seems like the employee is gettting to wrk before the boss does. Would like to know what kind of job isn't keeping a time sheet

Theoretically, the employee is correct to be upset. His boss doesn't keep a time sheet, isn't there when the employee gets there, and shorted his check. The check also doesn't say his pay rate or how many hours he worked it sounds like. However, the employee is scum of the earth, trying to deal with his problems by threatening violence instead of being civil and doing it the correct way. Both are wrong, but the employee absolutely deserves to be fired for threatening his boss, regardless of his paycheck being wrong
