While I get with and agree with what you are saying... I think part of this is the single man now has a lot more free time on his hands... so he has time to go to the gym, time to pick better clothes, time to cook healthier, etc.
I think I would be ready to hit the market immediately but I would be so upset over the end of my marriage that I would wait a while.
