If I'm not in a major city I have to be at least very close to a major city of at least 400k people. I couldn't be in some small city in my 20s.

If I was in my early 20's right now, I'd probably move to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, or somewhere in Montana. I may also be looking outside the country.
