What happened is that the streaming industry found out that the only way to be profitable is to use the same model that cable used.
Which is why almost all streaming requires commercials now even for the non-live content.

Turned it off, got the promo & added him back

No family sharing, no add ons. Still nothing. I do have YouTube Premium/music.
Maybe if I'm dumb enough to pay that, they think I don't need the discount others can enjoy.

Yep. Was costing me $190/mo before cutting it off. No movie channels either.
