If you put invitations in blue bin at 230 versus 530 will they be delivered sooner?

I have to address some invitations for a party I’m hosting. The wrong size envelopes came with the invites - long story- so I’m a week late getting the invites out because i had to wait on the right size envelopes. The envelopes will arrive Wednesday by noon. then i will immediately address them. Should i make myself crazy trying to get them done and in the bluebonnet post office blue box by 230 pm or will my putting them in the blue box at 430 pm get them sorted and out at the same time as 230 would?

No, it all goes out at the same time every evening. They used to sort all day, but now it’s only at night.

People still mail invitations in 2018
One month’s notice is proper etiquette. Because of the wrong size envelope fiasco, the guests for this party won’t be getting their invitations until 3 weeks prior to the party. I tried. Oh well

The box states the times they pick up each day. If the box says 11:30 and 4:30, then you better have it in there before 4:30. I'd highly suggest having them in there by 4:00 if the box says 4:30. If the box says 2:30 as their latest pick up then it won't happen for you at 4:30. They do not make an extra trip.
On a side note, the USPS location I use stays open till 7:00pm.
