It's based on how MN laws are worded. In short if you are the potential victim of a violent act, it is your job to escape and not use lethal force to defend yourself.

Rent a good numbers of u hauls.
Take everything of value out now moving it off site well out of town to unknown location to even employees before noon when thugs get up.
Leave empty safe open.
Break windows and make it look damaged.
Hopefully the next night it looks looted and not worth their time.

MN has been very anti stand your ground, i wouldn't be surprised that a jury would agree that the rioters would not have harmed you had you walked out the front door
